Weather widget and clock widget not working. Says "loading " but nothing happened. This trick did NOT work a few weeks ago, so the service presenting the data to the stocks widget has apparently made a change since then which only takes effect if you discard the now-outdated plist file. The one remaining issue is that the time line for the charts is still one hour off -- as if we were still on daylight savings time. --Bob Solutions: Reinstall the Widget App. Reboot. Windows 10 stock apps wont install or update I logged into windows 10 a while back, and the stock apps that came with windows 10 were not usable. Either uninstalled or unresponsive (as in, click the icon and nothing would happen) including apps like the store or windows 10 settings, very annoying. Best to take a widget that updates regularly as the first widget. So you have an idea when something goes wrong really soon; For some reason the stock clock widget keeps working, even though the other widgets stopped working. So probably that widget uses a different updating mechanism or something. I did the same with the weather app (of course different weather not stocks).

I hope Addagadgets can keep up the good work on this - as they have with all their other gadgets. Right click it and choose Exit Yahoo Widgets. Now go to Start>>All Programs>>Yahoo Widgets>>Yahoo Widgets and start up Yahoo Widgets again. To make this easier you can put a shortcut for Yahoo Widgets on your desktop or pin it to your start menu so you do not have to hunt for it in All Programs. FWIW: I threw out all my prefs associated with Dashboard, and the widget prefs associated with Stocks, restarted, and now with only the Apple default stocks, the widget still shows only blanks.
